Derek helps business owners think about what’s next, guiding them through why exit planning matters and why starting early gives them more options down the road.
He spends his time connecting with business owners through outreach, networking, and referral relationships, learning about their businesses and long-term goals, then connecting them with the right people and resources at EBA. Derek believes every business owner will eventually transition out of their business in some way, and the earlier they understand what it’s worth and start planning for that transition, the more options they’ll have.
Derek is a Colorado native, and getting to know local business owners and the communities they’ve built has only deepened his appreciation for the state. He’s passionate about seeing Colorado’s business community continue to grow and is proud to play a role in helping it thrive.
